e Aurora cemetery is well known because of the legend that a spaceship crashed nearby in 1897 and the pilot, who was killed in the crash, was buried here in an unmarked grave. Veterans of the Civil War, World War I, World War II, Korean War, and Vietnam War are interred here.| Another infamous person buried here is serial killer Ricky Lee Green, who is known to have killed at least four people, with the help of his wife. Green was convicted of capital murder and executed on October 8, 1997. |  |
