Wise County Public Dumps - Dumpsites

Wise County dumpsites are for wise county resident's household trash only. No commercial trash, no dump trailers. View a list of dumpsite locations.

Glass

As of April 16, 2018, per Wise County Commissioner's Court, we no longer accept glass for recycling. Glass can be accepted as household trash. Fees will be according to our regular price list.

Prices (Effective October 1, 2016)

  • Appliances (White Goods): $8 each
  • Automobile Tires: $3 each
  • Burn Barrels: $10 each
  • Couch: $15 each
  • Full Mattress: $10 each
  • Full Box Spring: $10 each
  • King Mattress: $15 each
  • King Box Spring: $15 each
  • Large Grill: $8 each
  • Loose Trash and Brush: $15 per cubic yard
  • Queen Mattress: $15 each
  • Queen Box Spring: $15 each
  • Recliner: $5 each
  • Shingles (Boyd and Decatur only): $25 per cubic yard
  • Small Grill: $5 each
  • Tractor Tires: $20 each
  • Trash Bags (30 Gallon or less): $1 each
  • Trash Bags (over 30 Gallons): $2 each
  • Truck Tires: $10 each
  • Twin Mattress: $8 each
  • Twin Box Spring: $8 each

If necessary, please bring your trash bag box to show how many gallons your bag is.

Figure Cost of Dumping for Cubic Yard

  • Length x Width x Height divided by 27, then multiplied by Cost per cubic yard = Cost to Dump.
