Juror Information for Jury Duty in the Justice of the Peace Court, Precinct Number 4, Willie Garrett, Presiding

Date of Service

You must report for jury service unless you: (1) claim and exemption (2) are disqualified; or (3) choose to postpone your service. To claim an exemption: select the exemption that applies to you, sign and return form to the court. If you are disqualified: select the disqualification that applies to you, sign and return the form to the court. To postpone your service: contact the court for consideration. When reporting for jury services ensure the juror questionnaire is completed and submit to the court.

Failure to Answer Summons and Provision of False Information

A person who fails to comply with this summons, or who knowingly provides false information in a request for an exemption or to be excused to from jury service, is subject to a contempt action in accordance with Government Code, Section 62.0141 and Government Code, Section 62.111. See also Code of Criminal Procedure, Article 35.01.
